HB, The Boy and I were hanging out on my bed late at night laughing at family antics. Mostly Faith and Cutie Pie. Actually, specifically things they say that crack us up. Those two girls are hilarious. Seriously.
We got on a little funny quote roll. As we giggled and gafawed, there was one clear winner.
This little dialogue from 2009 stands out above all the others. It is not made up. I don’t have to make things up around here. They just keep coming.
The Boy: “Cutie Pie, don’t take your shoes off. You need to keep them on while we’re in the woods. ”
Cutie Pie: “Shhh”
The Boy: “Really, you need to…”
Cutie Pie interrupting: “Shhh…. listen.”
Silence
Cutie Pie: “I hear an eagle. It’s saying, ‘Take off your shoes.’”

I remember when you first posted that one!! It is definitely a winner.
As for funny quotes, it is funny you should ask today. I just posted a bday note for my littlest boy, and included a phone conversation between him and his aunt. Hilarious. Seriously. He gave fake answers, to be funny, to every single thing she asked him. It’s in the blog today.
