Sometimes we just have to be spontaneous.  We have to pet zebras.  And camels.

Sometimes we have to watch a little boy feel like he is a cowboy in the state arena, waving to his fans.  Riding a bronc for real.  And winning the championship trophy for real.

Sometimes we have to cheer for pigs.  We have to play farmer.  And scientist.

Sometimes we need to eat fair food.  Like root beer floats.  And donut burgers with green chile lemonade.

Sometimes we need to go to the state fair.  We have to take it all in with good friends.  And be goofy.

What do you like to do at the fair?

It really was, Renee. And it was Dollar Day, so everyone who wasn’t free (5 and under) was only a dollar each to get in for the day. :)

Roasted corn on the cob, bbq, herd dog demos, all the funny chicken breeds, rabbits, 4-H display, quilts, mules, ice cream, hearing our favorite jug band, draft horses… those are some of my favorite parts of the Kentucky State Fair

Wow! I’ve never been to a state fair and this looks like tooo much funn! Loved that lil cowboy Paul Louis…he knows what to do. And just what is Noah about to consume? Appears to be a chocolate cover hamburger, perhaps with bacon??

Love 2 all…..
